The company offers head protection, such as chin strap, inner fitting, safety cap and hood, safety helmet, and sweatband; ear muffs, body protection, including basic, image, protective, reflective, uniform, and workwear; fall protection, comprising body harness, hooks and connectors, lanyards, retractable fall arrester, rope grab and fall arrester, and work positioning; hand protection, including aramid, arm, cut and sewn coated, cut protection, cut resistant coated and leather, heat resistant, impact protection; and safety shoes. It also exports its products. The company was formerly known as Acknit Knitting Limited. Acknit Industries Limited was incorporated in 1990 and is based in Kolkata, India.
