It also generates and sells power through solar and hydroelectric plants. In addition, it sells kappas and garments. Further, it exports its products. The company was formerly known as Kallam Spinning Mills Limited and changed its name to Kallam Textiles Limited in April 2018. Kallam Textiles Limited was incorporated in 1992 and is based in Guntur, India.
